Karolina, a 28-year-old librarian from Warsaw, has always been fascinated by books and history. One day, while taking inventory of books in the old city library, she came across a dusty box hidden in the far corner under a shelf. Inside were ancient manuscripts and several old books that no one knew about. Karolina’s curiosity got the better of her, and she began to examine the find. She discovered that among the books were rare editions that once belonged to famous scientists and writers. The most amazing find was a diary written at the beginning of the 20th century, which described the author’s personal observations about the events of his time – revolution, cultural changes, and people’s lives.
